Watch Kit enact Connecting Representations (Long Version)
In this video, Kit enacts Connecting Representations with his middle school students from the NYC Lab School. The task selected is intended to support students in naming the part to part or part to whole relationship in a ratio. Kit does an excellent job in this video of letting students do the heavy mathematical lifting while simultaneously pressing them to reconsider an idea they all held.
