After you fill out the form, you will receive notification that you have been added to a Google Group called "New Visions Social Studies Assessments Access." Once you receive that notification, you can access all of the assessments through the New Visions Social Studies Curriculum website, but you must be logged into the Google account you provided in the form to view the assessments.

Students will compare a primary and secondary source to examine the causes of Bacon's Rebellion. 

Students will do a differentiated activity to analyze what made the economies of the northern, southern, and middle colonies different. 

Students will do a differentiated activity where they examine Native American speeches in order to understand the impact of European colonization on Native Americans.

Students will examine pie charts to investigate what made the economies of the northern, southern, and middle colonies different. 

Students will analyze the institution of slavery in colonial America by analyzing a variety of primary and secondary sources.

Students will look at various maps in order to understand the geography of the 13 colonies.

Students will write an essay in which they discuss some examples of self-governing structures that evolved in the colonies and describe the impact of the Magna Carta and Enlightenment thinkers on the evolution of self-governing structures in the colonies.

Students will compare the indentured servitude to slavery through an examination of different primary sources.  

Students will explore the reasons that American colonists unified in advance of the French and Indian War.
