Don't you ever wish you could just hear from our students directly, what makes them feel welcome? Joyful? Prepared for the future? Motivated? Curious? How about what annoys them, or makes them feel important?

I've been encouraging schools and principals to hold student panels, as inspired by Street Data by Shane Safir and Jamila Dugan. Here is a synthesis of all the things we heard from 6-12th graders at the Community Health Academy of the Heights on April 12.

A special thank you to Ms Murphy for planning an incredible conclusion to the Street Data book study!
