Last week, ELA and Social Studies teachers attended the first workshop in a series devoted to test prep. Participants looked at 2017 ELA state test questions and considered the literacy subskills students needed to master in order to answer each question. The result was a list that helped teachers examine the subskills they want to intentionally focus on for their subsequent units. Missed the chance to attend?
