Ms Rinzel's students at Bronx Latin experienced a trio of instructional routines around literacy to fully dive into reading comprehension of images, comic books, informational texts and political cartoons.
They completed a Silent Graffiti to share and read each other's thoughts on the Statue of Liberty. Then, they reacted to A Picnic in October in pairs with React Aloud, and completed an OPTIQ around a comic panel from The Myth of Kronos.
