Both 6th and 7th grade math classes at Bronx Latin are experimenting with Thought Bubbles to help students unpack test questions and make predictions based on evidence.
6th grade students explored volume by considering a fish tank, and then a state test question involving smaller 1/2 unit cubes.
7th grade students unpacked constructed response test questions about movement above and below sea level, as well as calculating the difference and assessing best buys. Check out their lesson slides and classroom snapshots below!
