Assistant Principals recently used the Annotation Strategy to unpack Routines for Reasoning: Fostering the Mathematical Practices in All Students by Grace Kelemanik, Amy Lucenta, and Susan Janssen Creighton. Participants cited justifications for routines not just in the math classroom, but also in adult learning. These slides contain the activity's instructions, protocols for sharing, and debrief.
