TYWLS Harlem Science teacher Melina Melendez wanted a different and more engaging way to review the end of a unit. Melina used 3 different vocabulary micro-routines to revisit concepts through newly learned words. We know that when students interact with words several times throughout a unit, the more chance there is for those words to make it to their long term memory.
