FDA II Humanities teacher Lisa Kivell had to quickly transition reading John Lewis' graphic novel, MARCH when schools moved to remote learning. Lisa used a combination of an online graphic novel site, graphic organizers and short instructional videos to continue the unit with her 7th graders.
Watch Lisa show her students how to read background information and the graphic novel, as well as provide examples of how to complete the assigned task. You will also find student samples of the summative project, in which students wrote letters to the late John Lewis.
