TYWLS Harlem Social Studies teacher Hannah Givertz wanted to make her key unit vocabulary words sticky. Hannah adapted our vocabulary routine Word Hunt Phase One to get her students to think more deeply about the words industrialization, urbanization and regulation. Using a guessing forum, Hannah used pictures, sentences and short peer talk to create a better connection to each term.
